Mirehost

Mirehost is an original dark fantasy creature created for my upcoming game project. Deep within the rotting heart of the ancient swamps, a mysterious fungal organism has found a way to inhabit the remains of forgotten guardians. The Mirehost is no longer a creature of its own will. Its massive body has become a living vessel for an invasive fungal colony, slowly consuming everything within while controlling its movements through an intricate network of roots and spores. A strange mushroom grows from its back, feeding on the creature's remaining energy, while an unnatural maw hidden within its torso reveals the true horror lurking beneath its decaying exterior. Slow, relentless, and disturbingly resilient, Mirehosts wander the mist-covered marshlands, spreading their corruption wherever they go. Modeled and animated in Blockbench, Mirehost features a stylized voxel design and custom animations. This creature is part of a growing collection of unique monsters, creatures, and enemies designed for my game. **Showcase only** — this model is part of a personal game currently in development and is not available for download.
