Pick a place, a biome, a village, or a city. Real or invented: a mangrove swamp, a cliffside fishing village, a neon night market, a frostbitten outpost, a mushroom forest.
Then build an asset pack of two or more models that belong there. Anything counts as long as it lives in your place: decor and furniture, buildings and stalls, characters and creatures, armor and tools, street clutter, plants, vehicles, signage.
The packs that win won't be the biggest, they'll be the ones where every piece clearly comes from the same world. Shared palette, shared scale, shared story.
Every pack in finishing order, with the blended score it finished on. The scoreboard has each judge's marks side by side.

Candy Biome is a sweet, colorful, and fantastical biome filled with cotton candy trees, candy canes, and edible decorative blocks. While it appears to be a peaceful and cheerful place, it's also home to unique creatures like gummy bears, marshmallow puffs, cookie golems, and candy sentinels. It's perfect for exploring, collecting new sweet materials and discovering special structures within a world brimming with sugar, color, and fantasy.

The nether fungi have been corrupted by the nethers harsh and brutal environment twisted and warped by the nether they have become hostile and invasive...

Ever wanted new mobs in the deep ocean? Or just a new trident and a new armor set? These assets will give the ocean a more vibrant, but also dangerous vibe. Gameplay advice: The Anglerfish and the Great Anglerfish should be agressive mobs that could drop items that are required to craft the Anglerfish Armor and the Anglerfish Trident.

Judges score every entry against the same four criteria, weighted as shown. Final placings blend those scores (70%) with the community vote (30%), and the most-voted pack takes Community Choice outright.
Does the pack clearly evoke its biome, village, or city? Dropped into that world, would every piece feel at home?
Modeling, texturing, and (where used) rigging and animation quality. Clean geometry, deliberate palettes, silhouettes that read at a glance.
A fresh take, an unexpected place, a clever twist, pieces we haven't seen a hundred times before.
The models share a scale, palette, and style, and the listing sells it: good names, thumbnails, and descriptions that present the pack like it shipped.
The whole rulebook, in plain language. Entering means agreeing to it.
Anyone with a Workshop account can enter, free. One entry per creator, you can edit or withdraw it until submissions close, and the last version you submit is the one that counts.
An entry is an asset pack of 2 to 16 of your own models, published on the Workshop and set to Free. Every model must be uploaded after the theme drop (July 17, 5:00pm ET), pre-existing work isn't eligible, and must load in the 3D viewer, a listing locked to a turntable video can't be entered (judges and voters need to turn the model over themselves).
Original work only, made for this contest. No reuploaded, ripped, or traced assets, and no AI-generated models or textures. Reusing your own base rigs and painting techniques is fine, that's craft, not copying.
Your models stay yours. By entering you grant Blockbench Workshop a non-exclusive license to display and promote your entry (front page, social posts, the results board).
While the contest is live, entered models are locked: they can't be deleted, made paid or showcase-only, or have their file swapped. Withdraw your entry first if you need to change one.
Voting is one vote per account, pick your favorite pack, change your mind any time until voting closes (August 7, 5:00pm ET). Tallies stay hidden until results. Accounts created after submissions close can't vote, and vote manipulation (alt accounts, vote trading) disqualifies the entry it benefited.
Winners are decided 70% by the judges' rubric scores and 30% by the community vote, plus a separate Community Choice award for the most-voted pack. Judges' decisions are final, and we may disqualify any entry that breaks these rules.
