One of several nightjar species commonly found in forests and along woodland edges.

The nightjar is a nocturnal bird that spends its days perfectly still, blending seamlessly with the barks of trees. This elusive forest dweller can be tamed, and from time to time it sheds rare feathers prized as ingredients in a wide variety of crafting recipes.
