What gets handed over
  • .bbmodel source file
  • GeckoLib / mod-ready
  • Texture files
  • Rigged bones
  • Animations

I need a custom Minecraft mob based directly on my provided character references.

The most important requirement is that the final model should reproduce the reference as accurately as possible — essentially 1:1. The reference images are the primary source of truth. Please preserve the character's exact silhouette, proportions, anatomy, facial features, limbs, wings, tail, colors and distinctive details.

I do NOT want a redesign or a loose Minecraft-style reinterpretation. I want the same character translated into a Minecraft-compatible 3D model. The geometry should be simplified and optimized for Minecraft where necessary, but the appearance and proportions should remain as close to the reference as possible.

The model is intended for a Minecraft mod and will be used with Metamorph. GeckoLib compatibility is preferred. I need the model, texture, rig and animations.

Animations should include idle, walking/movement, flying with wing movement, death, and preferably take-off/landing. The tail should also be animated during idle, movement and flight.

No weapons, held items, armor or complex custom mechanics are required. The creature is simply a four-legged flying mob.

I would like the source file in Blockbench (.bbmodel), together with the texture and necessary GeckoLib-compatible files.

I can provide multiple reference images and additional views if needed. If any part of the design is unclear, please ask me rather than significantly changing or redesigning it.

This is my first commission of this type, so I would also appreciate advice about any technical requirements needed for GeckoLib and Metamorph integration.

The deadline is flexible and

can be discussed.

Offering is how you start the conversation, and it puts you in control of it: you decide what to share, and withdrawing takes it back. The poster reaches out to you, never the other way around.

Nobody has offered yet. A clear brief and a real budget are what change that.

Hi there! A quick question regarding the brief: the description mentions a four-legged flying mob, but the reference images show a bipedal bird/owlbear creature (2 legs, 2 wings, and a backpack). Could you confirm which anatomy you are looking for? Also, because the concept sheets are illustrative renders with high-density voxels and baked gradients, are you open to a clean low-poly game-ready translation in Blockbench, or do you need ultra-dense micro-voxel geometry?
